Masterclass with Jordan Tejedor
 

60-minute sessions aimed at violinists of all levels who want to deepen their technical and musical development.

2 group sessions are also offered aimed at students from the end of elementary level and half of middle and another from half of middle to higher.

Active participants will work directly with the teacher on key aspects such as technique, tuning, posture, sound production, interpretation.

A practical and personalized workspace, based on the experience of one of the most outstanding violinists and pedagogues of his generation in the Spanish musical scene.

You can register for an individual session, a group session, or just as a listener. If you register for the individual session you will be able to attend the sessions as listeners. 

The group class schedule for Saturday the 13th will be as follows:

  • From 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. (elementary and middle school level)
  • From 16:00 to 17:00h (middle school level and above)

    Jordan Tejedor, Violinist

    Winner of the most important national competitions in the country, Jordán Tejedor is one of the most outstanding violinists and pedagogues of his generation in the Spanish musical scene.

    He is usually a jury member in national and international competitions and his students are winners of national and international awards such as Music Competition Vienna, International Geneva Junior Music Competition, Concurs Nacional Intercentres de Grau Superior, Gold International Classical Music Competition, BIYAC, Victòria BCN violin Competition or Ciutat de Vigo among many others.

    His performances as a soloist stand out, performing the most representative violin concertos such as those by Bach, Mozart and Brahms, together with orchestras such as the Orquestra de Ràdio Televisió Española (ORTVE), Orquestra de Cambra Gonçal Comellas, Jove Orquestra Nacional de Catalunya (JONC) and Orquestra Simfònica de la Musik in the main Auditoriums and Festivals in the country. He also makes many recordings for Els concerts de la 2 of TVE, Ràdio Clàssica of RNE and Catalunya Ràdio.

    After graduating at the age of 17 from the Conservatory of Music of the Liceu de Barcelona with his main teacher, Gonçal Comellas, he continued his training with relevant teachers on the international scene: Maurici Fuks (Bloomington, USA), Adam Korniszewski (Brussels), Joshua Epstein (Saarbrucken) and Boris Kuschnir (Vienna). In chamber music he trained with the Enesco Quartet of Paris and Joshua Epstein of the Bartholdy Quartet.

    His passion for teaching and pedagogy has led him to become a violin professor and head of the string department at the Conservatory of Music of Aragon (CSMA), a professor at the Escola Superior de Música d’Alt Rendiment of Valencia (ESMAR) and the Faculty of Music of the University Alfonso X ep Sabio (UAX).

    He is currently on leave from the Corps of Music and Performing Arts Teachers to be a violin professor at the Escola Superior Musical Arts Madrid and the Conservatory of Music of the Liceu de Barcelona.
